Thank you for your support. I've got a million Strawberry ideas to share with you. I mean, when you buy 8 cases of strawberries, you gather a few recipes or at least ways to store them! When I brought home all of those strawberries, I also had a couple of half pints of blueberries that I needed to use. So, I incorporated them into this jam and I am delighted with the results! I actually made this jam the same day that I made the Strawberry Ginger Ale recipe that I shared here. I also made labels that you can print for your jars. Just click the button for the pdf. You will be able to edit the date on your labels. You can also center them better than I did! The recipe tells you that this recipe will make about 8 jars of jam. It depends on the size of your jars of course, you could end up with 9 or 10 jars. This recipe makes a big batch of delicious jam! And, it is super easy to do. Enjoy!

Everyone knows that lemon and blueberries go great together when you are cooking. But aside from the taste, did you know that there are some tremendous health benefits that come from those two fruits? Here are a few of them: Lemons:
Blueberries:
(Source info from Healthline) Learning all of this about the benefits of these fruits inspired me to come up with this Blueberry/Lemonade drink to give my husband and I a boost as we were working on projects around our house! I had seen a recipe from my friend and Doterra consultant for a morning detox drink containing warm water, lemon oil and honey. It seemed like a great idea, but I didn't want a warm drink and I thought about the blueberries in my fridge and decided to make a Blueberry Lemonade using my lemon essential oils. It came out pretty good, but since then, I tweaked it and it is even better now. Drinking that cool and refreshing drink, knowing that everything in it was good for me felt so good after working hard all morning and gave me a boost for the rest of the day! Essential Oils I generally use essential oils topically and as aroma therapy. There are very few that I feel comfortable ingesting, but lemon is one that I trust. If you feel uncomfortable using the essential oil in this recipe, you can substitute the juice from one lemon and maybe some zest as well. Always store essential oils out of the reach of children. They are potent ingredients and need to be handled with care. Oils can burn skin and eyes and cause severe illness if ingested incorrectly. While I find oils to be a wonderful tool in my well being, it is important to learn about them and to know how to use them carefully. I am definitely not an expert but I value the expert advice that I have been learning from many sources. Always do your homework! So, here it is, my simple recipe for a Blueberry Lemonade De-Tox Refresher! Be sure to use a blender that is good at breaking up ice cubes! There you go! Super simple! Bottoms Up! *Just to be clear, Lemon essential oil comes from the skin of the lemon, so there will not be the added benefit of fiber in this smoothie when you use the essential oil. There will be if you use a regular lemon. Other ways I have used essential oils: Other healthy and delicious drinks and smoothies:

Did you know International Pancake Day is next Tuesday (February 16, 2021)? In my research, I found that this is because pancakes are traditional to make on Fat Tuesday/Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras (they're all the same) because they use up the rich and fat ingredients you may have around your home before lent starts. I thought that was a cool way to not waste your food.
We aren't part of the religion that participates in Lent, but we do love pancakes and are happy to celebrate International Pancake Day! So I have rounded up 13 recipes that are different from your typical pancakes and will make you want to keep stacking them up! 13 Unique Pancake Recipes
I hope you'll be breaking out your electric skillets next week to celebrate International Pancake Day with us and try some of these recipes. I guarantee you will not regret it.
What are some of your favorite kinds of pancakes? Any you would like to see us attempt? Let us know in the comments below!

Blueberries have been on sale! Here is a luscious, creamy way to use them without heating up your kitchen. I didn't even turn on my oven to make the crust! I simply put together the graham crackers, sugar and melted butter, pressed them into my favorite blue pie dish and chilled it until I was ready to use it. (Blue pie dish=Perfect for blueberry desserts!) The blueberry flavor isn't super strong, so on this blueberry cheesecake I love to pile on the fresh blueberries to get that fresh taste.
Here is the recipe!
I hope you try it and love it! Let me know!
Here are a few other blue pie plates!
