Thank you for your support I caught the tail end of this craft idea on a morning TV news show here in Phoenix and I thought it would be easy enough to make quickly to put on the kid's table or to even let the kids make themselves, with supervision since it requires a glue gun. If you need fall leaves, you can go here. If you need Tootsie Pops, you can go here. Sharpies? Go here. I used a round hole punch to punch out some blue paper to make eyes on the top of the Kiss. I drew on pupils with the Sharpie. I just drew the waddle free hand on the red paper, so they are all slightly different. These little turkeys would make super cute place holders! Just write on the back feathers, (leaves) with a sharpie. Here is my granddaughters:

Thanksgiving is upon us and this year PH and I are hosting! I am excited and stressed all at the same time! I don't even know why because although we are hosting my mom is still doing the turkey. But mostly I am stressed because I was laid up this weekend with back pain and therefor was unable to do all of the cleaning that I wanted to do.
I did however, manage to put together this Spinach Puff appetizer! These Spinach puffs are so fast and easy to put together. The really great thing is you can make them the same day, but you can also make them tonight and then freeze them and just pull them out and bake them the day of! PH tested them and gave them his seal of approval. So whip up this tasty appetizer to keep your hungry guests at bay before the grand event on Thursday. Have a happy Thanksgiving and remember, if you haven't bought our Pie e-book now is the time!!! You can bake pies in advance as well, and we have so many amazing recipes to choose from! Click the link at the side and get your pie on! This post contains affiliate links. If you make a purchase after clicking them, we will be compensated, but there is no additional cost to you. I'm glad buttons have a day because I have always loved them. From the time I played with them in my mother's big, musty smelling treasure chest of a button box until today, there is something so special about buttons. They are so cute, except in the book/movie Coraline, of course, when they are creepy. I have my own button box now, but it isn't as brilliant as my mom's was. But, when I do a project, it is often one of the places I turn to first. So, today for Friday Faves, I thought I would show you a few projects that are button-fabulous! You could a dd a bow to the wreath or use different shaped buttons. I just used what I have at home. I love displaying little things like this on my bookshelves during the holidays. Here are some other things that we would like to try! If you don't have a big stash of buttons, you can order them online here or here! Or, go to Walmart or any fabric store. You can find serving trays at Dollar Tree here. I am having so much fun playing with buttons, I can't stop, so you may be seeing more button projects form me, Ha Ha! I did do a Spring Button Project here a while back. And, if you like the idea of little framed pieces on your bookshelves, look at these!
