A few days before my granddaughter came for a visit, she messaged me and told me that she had something that we just had to put on the blog! Even over a video message I could see that these Churro Snap Cookies were something special! We made plans to make a video of Jayda making them during the time that we were together. If you love churros, think of churros on steroids, because not only do you get the crunchy cinnamon cookie, but then there is the absolutely delicious cinnamon frosting! And these churros are baked, not fried, so to my mind much easier to make. We had such a great time putting together this video. Please click the Read More message and come and have fun with us! This was a special weekend with Jayda and her brothers because today is her 14th birthday! Her dad's is just a few days earlier, so we had a lot of cake and celebrating going on. Jayda has grown up on this blog, right before your eyes! At the end of this post, I'm going to put a few links to some of the posts that she has been a part of, and you will see what I mean! But, if you can only click on one of those links, I would recommend comparing today's video with Jayda Makes Brookies! It is a classic and you will definitely see the growth in her! Gather Your Ingredients: You will need:
The entire time that we were recording this video, my grandsons, Jayda's brothers were chomping at the bit to get a cookie! Jayda had made them for them before and they knew that they would be good! We had quite the time keeping everyone quiet, LOL! In the end, it came out pretty cute! Just a few notes about the recipe that you may have wondered about when watching the video:
Be sure to click on the recipe for the printable version! Now for the fun part! Look at these past blog posts that Jayda has participated in! She has grown up overnight!
There have been many other posts than these, but these are some of my favs!
Not only that, while Jayda was here, she gave me some new trendy ideas that I can't wait to tell you about! She is one creative girl and I love her to pieces! Now, get out to the kitchen and bake some Churro Snap Cookies and let Jayda know how you like them!

They look delicious. Jayda is really good at instruction. So proud of her. She is a Baker, and that is not an easy skill to master.
