Thank you for your support. Christmas isn't Christmas for me if there aren't any handmade gifts! This year, I happen to have a plethora of bottlecaps that I've been looking for something sensational to do with, and boy have I found some fun and useful ideas! There is a Pop Shop near us here in Phoenix that sells all kinds of crazy flavors of Soda Pop. Last year I shopped there to make this terrific, (and very well received), gift for the men in our family. Now, my grandchildren love to frequent that shop whenever they can, and when they do, they save the bottlecaps for me! You can paint the caps or you can let the favorite flavors show when making these gifts! Click "read more" to find out all about them! Bottlecap Tea Lights: These simple little bottlecap tea lights would make a sweet stocking stuffer for a candle lover. You can make them in the receiver's favorite color and even add a scent with essential oils! Craftsy Hacks has the tutorial! Bottlecap Serving Tray: The colorful variety of bottlecaps lend themselves to a pretty tray or tabletop. This one at Sum of Their Stories is fabulous! Bottlecap Fishing Lures: I still love this fishing lure idea, found on 2 Little Hooligans. I helped my grandson make some for his dad at Father's Day and they are so cool! (You can see that post here.) The fishermen in your life will appreciate lures made from the cap of their favorite beverage! Macaron Ornament made from Bottlecaps: My Frugal Christmas had the terrific idea to make these adorable bottlecap macarons! I know some Francophiles who would love one of these tied on their Christmas package as a little extra gift! Miniature Pies: I know some little girls who love Barbies who would love to serve these pies to them! If you are giving Barbies, Barbie Houses, Barbie Clothes, or Barbie anything this year to daughters, grandchildren or nieces, these would be well received I'm sure! You can find the tutorial at Adventure in a Box! Bottlecap Nativity Ornaments or Magnets: This is a project that I have been working on! When you say the word "Nativity", I'm there because I love to give gifts that remind the receiver of the true meaning of the season. You can download these printables for a very low price from My Computer is My Canvas and then use a 1 inch hole punch, some glue and resin and you are off! The artwork is just adorable. Bottlecap Trivets and Coasters: A few years ago I showed you how to make trivets with bottlecaps in this post. I had recreated my trivet after receiving one from Uganda as a gift! I still use my trivets and love them! They would make fabulous gifts! Make them in any shape, size or color! Bottlecap Garden Flower: If you have a gardener friend, (like me!), a garden embellishment like this would be well appreciated! I have seen a lot of different types of these bottlecap flowers online, but I think this one from Crafts by Amanda is my favorite! Here are a few supplies that you may need for any of these crafts:
