A Cocoa Bomber's Hectic Life!

Well, I hope you have been wondering where I have been over the past couple of weeks! The story is long, but to make it short, these guys have moved out of my house to join their daddy at law school!

The top picture is of the four older kids. We did a project where we painted with ice cubes.  It was fun and the fort became a gallery for the day.  The bottom picture is the one I promised of Hunter in his blanket that I made him.  I miss that face! I miss all of their faces.
Now my house is very quiet and I have billions of projects to do, except life keeps moving on a billion times faster than I can keep up.  A few days after these guys left, my 19 year old daughter had to have surgery on her hand.  It has been an on-going problem for her over the past two years.  We are hoping that this will end it.  Then, my son-in-law just got a remarkable opportunity to do an internship with Pixar in CA! So exciting! But, his wife, my daughter, who has the other new baby in our family, is working on her master's in SLC! 19 year old daughter is going to be the nanny for this guy...
...But now she has to wait for the post-op stuff and someone needs to be in there to take care of him by Monday and Son-in-law is in CA already starting internship on Monday, so guess who is driving to UT on Sunday? Me of course! I am so excited to see this baby again, but not for the long drive I have to make all by myself.  (just a little nervous about that)  So, my creative projects will have to be on hold.
I will share a little bit about something I have started though! Do you remember that I was trying to think of something to do with a left over carpenter's apron that I had?  Well, I came up with a brilliant idea I think, of making a quiet book.  It isn't finished yet, but here are some preview pics.

This is an "I Spy" page.

It may be too hot to think about Cocoa Bombs right now, but funny how new ideas keep coming into my head.  I can't wait for colder weather to be able to share them with you.  Plus, I am going to be creating a new sewing space in my house, and making curtains and all kinds of projects, so please keep following and let me know what you think!
