The nice thing about Jam Cookies is that they don't have a lot of sugar in the dough. The sweetness comes from the jam itself. I dusted these with read sugar to make them obviously for Valentine's Day. I baked them on my baking stone because I didn't want them to brown too much, but to keep their red and white appearance. I have the Pampered Chef Rectangular Stone, but here is another, less expensive version. (As you can see, my stone is well seasoned, because it works great for cookies and for pizza!)
