Best Deals on Amazon: Black Friday 2018

Amazon has been doing Black Friday all this week with deals on some of our favorite products. I've narrowed down my favorite 5 deals for you here. I have personal experience with all these products and cannot recommend them enough. And at these prices, you can't go wrong.

Amazon Black Friday Deals 2018

1. Fire TV Stick

We have had our Fire TV Stick for about 4 years now. WE LOVE IT! You can watch Prime Videos, Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, HBO, Network Shows, Disney Channel...and basically anything you want! There's also games you can play. We have Ticket to Ride on ours (a favorite board game of ours). My favorite feature though is that you can also play your Amazon Music on your Fire TV Stick. It makes listening to your favorite music so easy. It's great to have on while you're cleaning or just playing with your kids/grandkids. Oh and you can set it so your photos stored on Amazon Photo will be the screensaver for your TV Stick, so it can also make your TV like a digital picture frame when you're not using it.
It does require your TV to have a USB port, and it doesn't really work without WiFi, but these things are not very common to have problems with.

2. Amazon Fire Kids Tablet

The Fire Tablet is something we've had since we got married 6.5 years ago. My husband got me the first one as a wedding gift. And it's still kicking! We got a second one for our son to use when we went on a long road trip a couple years ago, and it is still just as effective. The kids edition comes with a thick rubber case that protects the tablet, as well as a year of FreeTime Unlimited. With Free Time you can limit your kids screen time automatically, and they have access to over 15,000 apps, audiobooks, and games that are age appropriate. After the first year it's 2.99/month, which you can cancel at anytime. The tablet also comes with 2 year no questions asked guarantee. It's a fully functional fire tablet too, the whole family can get use from it. I use mine to easily get kindle books and listen to audiobooks. When we first were married, it was our TV. When we travel we download shows that can be watched offline from Netflix and Prime Video so our kids can watch them. It's a great investment for the whole family.

3. Amazon Basics Cast Iron Skillet

I think I've talked a few times about my skillet already on the blog, but I love it so much! It cooks evenly and is non-stick because of the seasoning. It gives food such a great flavor and is easy to care for. I know cast iron can seem scary to care for, but this pan comes pre-seasoned and that makes the upkeep a breeze. I love this pan and use it almost everyday. That's my testament for how great it is!

4. LEGO Sets

Do I really need to explain this one? LEGO are the classic building bricks we all love and Amazon has them on sale right now! I love the sets with just a bunch of bricks so the kids (or you) can build to your hearts delight. But there's also sales on specific sets, like Harry Potter. My son loves his Duplo blocks (which are also on sale) but has started to get into the regular blocks too! I have fun helping be creative and build. LEGOs are great for the whole family.

5. Tombow Brush Pens

If you want to get into hand lettering, THESE are the pens you NEED. If you follow anyone in the lettering community, Tombow pens are the most recommended pen set. I got some as a birthday gift from my mom (thanks mom!) and they make lettering so much easier and fun. It takes a little practice to get used to the brush tip, but once you do, it's so nice! I'll be sharing a piece I made with the pens soon! But I'm amazed at these prices on Amazon's Black Friday deals! Because they're industry standard these pens can be pretty pricy, so snag them while you can on this amazing deal. The ink comes out smoothly and the colors are great! I can't recommend them enough.
