Often, on road trips with my grandchildren, we stop at a Maverick for gas and to pick up some snacks. One of the favorite snacks for some of us are these cinnamon gummy bears that are coated in chocolate! Maverick is the least expensive place that we have found them, if you can find them at all, but they still cost a bit more than I normally like to pay for a snack. They are just so good though! One day, I was thinking about chocolate cinnamon bears, randomly, because that is how my mind works, and I thought to myself, "Why not dip your own cinnamon bears?" Then, I mentioned it to my granddaughter who was with me and of course she was on board! So, the search began to first find the cinnamon gummy bears to dip! They do have them online, but we didn't want to wait overnight to have them shipped! (First world problem!) Besides, they were much less expensive at Winco, where we found them by the bin full for under $3 per pound! We decided to dip our bears in a mixture of semi-sweet and milk chocolate. The chocolate blended together was not too sweet and not too bitter. It went really well with the cinnamon taste of the bears. More Tips for Dipping:
After they are all hardened and you've eaten more than you should, the real fun begins! Giving them to other people! There are so many ways, reasons and uses for giving these wonderful things away! Since you can dip a ton of them, why not share? Here are some ideas!
I had those little cookie bags in my stash of food/hot cocoa bomb supplies. They are super reasonable on Amazon. Mine are 3 x 5 inches, which holds 6 bears perfectly. I like them because they have a self adhesive top that folds over and then the little label can fit on the flap. When putting the bears into the bags, I like to use little tongs like these so that I don't melt the chocolate by touching it with warm hands and leaving fingerprints. Here are the PDFs for the labels! I printed them on 2.5 x 1 inch address labels. Let me know if they work for you and if you try these Chocolate Dipped Cinnamon Gummy Bears, did you eat them all yourself? (I won't judge!) Or, did you have clever ways and reasons to give some away? After you dip your bears, you may have leftover chocolate! Here are some ideas to use it up!

Amazing, never thought of dipping gummy bears. With the summer school vacation upon us, I think I need to source them and get the grandkids over for a feast with gummies and chocolate. What's not to love about this
