Now that Thanksgiving is over it's time to start thinking about Christmas, and my favorite tradition is the Advent Calendar! I did a similar post to this last year where I shared the best printable advent calendars of 2018. 

This year I'm just going to share some favorite advent calendars I've found.

And I'll remind you of these two we made and shared with you last year. A printable punch card with scriptures to read each day. And a reusable, felt, countdown chain.

Light the World 2018

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints makes this calendar each year to help us focus on the reason for the season, Jesus! It's always service oriented and this year is really cool because each week they have us focusing on a different way to light the world, starting with the world, then local community, then family, then yourself (self-care ya know!)! I love it and I'm excited to do it with my family.

Wooden Nativity Advent Calendar

I just love this wooden Nativity silhouette advent calendar from ByPryorArrangement on Etsy.  It's so well done and the final arrangement is very nice looking. And if you're not into the whole advent calendar thing, it's still a great nativity scene you can just set out at the beginning of the season.

It's another advent calendar that helps remind us of Christ.

Dog Advent Calendar

Let your dog in on the Christmas fun with this countdown calendar for your pet! Each day you can give your best friend his favorite treat! Leading up to the big day when they'll get this cute stocking filled with toys and treats from Santa Paws! (Sorry couldn't resist the pun).

Printable Village Advent Calendar

LittleLLamaShoppe on Etsy has the cutest printable village. It does require cutting and folding but look how cute it is when they finish! Each part of the village can be filled with little gifts of treats. And since it's printable, it's great for last minute fun.

Eric Carle Pop-Up Calendar

This is AMAZING! This calendar is like a pop-up book with a tree and a pop-up Santa. Each day you open a door to reveal an ornament that can be hung on the tree! This would make a great gift for a kid in your life. I have always loved Eric Carle's art and I love that I can have it on display in my home around Christmas.
