Thank you for your support. I was browsing around Michael's the other day and came across a Christmas print that I really liked. I'd seen similar types of sayings on Pinterest, but not in the holiday version. (You know, "You are the Flip to my flop" type of thing.) There were a couple of pairings on it that didn't really go with our family, so I decided to come home and come up with some of my own, adapting the way the Michael's version was made. A couple of the things that I changed were that I had to include, "Holly to My Jolly" because I love that Christmas Carol, as well as Silver Bells. Oh, and of course "Cocoa to my Bomb." After designing it the way that I wanted it, I sent it off to my local Staples where I had it printed as a blueprint poster in the 18 x 24 size for about $3 and something cents. I actually printed 2 of them in case I want to give one away! I love how it came out. Today, I'm giving you the printable that I came up with for free! All you have to do is click on the image below and download it from the pdf. Then, you can send it to your print center and have it printed! If they are worried about copyright, just show them this post where I am telling you that you can print it for free! Michael's Knock-off Print: I framed mine in a poster frame from Hobby Lobby that was on sale for 50% off, so it cost me about $6. It would look great framed in a magnetic frame like Alicia taught us how to make on this post. Or, you could mount it on a canvas or board. I love the festive feel it gives to my family room! After working on this print, I started wondering about other pairings that would work well in this style of poster. Many people in our family have second languages that they speak and I decided that I could use those languages in a meaningful way in a similar fashion. This is what I came up with: After creating this poster, I decided that it would be terrific on a Christmas Card, especially to give to family and people that you really love. So, I printed it on my on printer to postcard style 5 x 7 inch cards. They look really good and they can be mailed either as a postcard, or in the envelope with a photo included! The great thing, that 5 x 7 size is perfect to frame and set on a bookshelf during the holidays! We are making the multi language print available on our Etsy shop for a really good price! If you love languages like we do in our family or if someone you love does, this print will be the perfect personalized card or gift. I hope that you love them as much as I do! By the way! No one in our family speaks Hawaiian. My husband speaks Tahitian, but in Tahiti they say "Joyeux Noel" since they are a French territory. So, the Hawaiian is a nod to the Polynesian language in our home.
