With Valentine's Day coming, can we talk about a different kind of love? Sometimes you have something that you are loving so much that you just have to share what it is with everyone.  The funny thing is that right now the 4 of us each have a thing like that, so we thought we would share our current favorite four things with you right now.

Alicia's husband got her an Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner for her birthday, (per her request).  She loves it and brought it when she came to visit and cleaned all of our glasses!
If you wear glasses, you know how hard it is to get those little crevices clean around the nose piece.  This little cleaner got them looking shiny and new in no time! It also works on rings and other jewelry.  Since Alicia lives in California, I may need to get one of these for myself!
Lindsey recently acquired a Pampered Chef Blender that she is really enjoying.  As a matter of fact, if you want to see it in action, watch for the reel that she is going to put up on our Instagram!  She has even made soup in it! The link is to the Pampered Chef site, but you may be able to find one on Amazon as well.

Maddy has a new Waterpik Flosser.  She is so impressed with it because flossing has never been easier.  This one is cordless, so that's a real perk and the price is right, too.
My favorite thing right now is actually more than just one thing and has a bit more of a backstory.

When my husband was in the hospital, I told him that when he came home, it would be Christmas to me.  I decided to put my Christmas decorations up right after Halloween so that when he came home it would be cozy and wonderful to greet him.  I especially wanted the bedroom to be cozy because since he would be recovering in there and he had spent so long in hospital beds, he deserved some real comfort.
I had once seen a picture of what I felt like was the perfect bedroom decorated for the holidays, so I used that idea as my guide as I began to decorate my room.  It helped a lot that we had recently purchased a new bed before we were struck with Covid.
The first thing I did was purchase a nice fluffy white comforter as the base to build on.
I have blue drapes in my room, so I wanted a Christmas theme in blue, but that is difficult to find.  My friend Tracy suggested I go with a winter theme instead.  That was a brilliant idea, and I paid a visit to Home Goods to have a look around.  I found these pillows with snowflakes, and TA DA, the theme was set!

I also found a throw for the end of the bed that wasn't super Christmassy, but it had the colors that went with the pillows.  Then, Tracy sent me a link for this comforter to add as an extra layer, plus it has shams!  When you see it spread all of the way open, I feel like it is a little too busy, but it is perfect folded on the end of my white bed.
Finally, I found these warm and cozy flannel snowflake sheets that are the perfect finishing touch.
When I put the bed altogether, I loved it and I still do!

One thing this photo doesn't show is that I also hung 2 wreaths above out heads on each side of the bed.
The benefits of having a cozy bed have become so apparent to me!
  • That fluffy comforter truly is comforting to climb under after a long day, a discouraging day or a cold day.  It comforted me every night before my husband came home.
  • I wasn't sure if my husband would even notice or appreciate the bed like I did, but he did!  He loved the warmth of the flannel sheets and the fluff of the comforter and he love tucking his cold feet under the extra blankets a the bottom.
  • Every morning I take joy in making my bed and making it look cozy and inviting.  I didn't feel shy about my husband's therapists going into our bedroom.  And, as I walk through my room each day, it just makes me happy to see my comfy bed.
  • If you wand a quick nap, the extra quilts and throws are easy to pull up and use for a light cover without messing up the entire bed.
The only con is that I may want to nap a little more often when I should be doing other things.

Those are our current 4 things to love!  What are you loving right now?
