Give a Fall Feel to Your Home with Super Easy Touches

Cloudy weather and cooler temperatures are certainly getting me into the fall spirit.  I picked up this little owl welcome sign last year, I can't remember where, but he seems very appropriate for our house.  After purchasing my pumpkin soup tureen at Walmart the other day, I have been thinking I should get out a few more Autumnal decorations! Last night, I did just that!
My family room, slash dining area already has kind of a year round fall look going for it.  The walls are a golden tan color and the pictures, etc give that look.

One day, while at Michael's, just shopping around, I found a couple of bags of little fall colored pom-poms on clearance and I was sure I could do something with them, so I picked them up.  I loved the fall colors.  Then, in the One Spot at Target, I found some blank wooden banners and the idea to form the letters with the pom-poms came to my mind.  I thought I would just add a fall touch to my wall.

Just a little Autumn touch!
Here are just a few more little ideas for Fall:
These Carousel Squash are so pretty, I had to get them. But, they won't last too long in my arrangement because they will soon become soup!
The little pumpkin will become pie. The resin "Thanks" letters came from Oriental Trading. There is a link to their site on my sidebar.
Madalynn started showing her artistic tendencies at a young age. She painted these rocks into pilgrims to surprise me one year.
I love them and scatter them around every fall.
Lindsey made me this pumpkin at a church activity when she was a girl. It is made from dryer venting material. I like to just tuck things into my already existing decor to give it that a little fall accent.
This guy has been a part of our fall decor for a long time.
I love this "Give Thanks" candle holder so much that I leave it out all year to remind me to do just that. When the season arrives, I put it out in the front more, with a flowering cornucopia showing off behind it.
You can tell that I love Thanksgiving more than Halloween, but somehow these autumn holidays all blend together well for me.
Well, I am off to make Hot Cocoa Bombs and to work on other fun projects! What is this fall weather inspiring you to do? Leave a comment and let me know!

Fall decorating always gets me in the mood for the coming holidays. It is like the official signification of the change of season in South Florida. We are still in the 90's but we have the pumpkin décor out.
