Thank you for your support. You've got Valentine's Day covered, right? Flowers, chocolates...but wait! You suddenly find out that your Valentine doesn't like chocolate! It is true, there are people out there who do not like, are allergic to, or do not eat chocolate for one reason or another. This tragedy is what leads us to this week's Friday Fave question: "What is your favorite non-chocolate candy?". You may think that you are going to be reading about the usual Skittles and Starburst. No, we are much deeper than that. You are going to want to try our choices! When I posed this question this week, Alicia said that she thought she would come up with some Valentines to go with each choice! She is so creative! So, today we are offering 5 free printable Valentines to go with these 5 candy choices. Now you will be all set! If you really want to be an amazing Valentine, You could make a poster that has all of the Valentines with all of the candy selections! Your Valentine will be so impressed! I must confess that Red Hots didn't come up as anyone's actual favorite candy this week, but we loved Alicia's idea for the Valentine so much that we had to include it. I am sure that there are people out there who love them. I know that when my oldest son was in Brazil he asked me to send him some. Lindsey had a difficult time choosing a non-chocolate candy because she doesn't really enjoy candy unless it is dark chocolate, given her healthy habits. She finally settled on Cinnamon Candied Almonds because she loves nuts! Have you tried these? I don't usually love nuts, but when I first tried these, (at Costco) I was hooked! Here is the cute Valentine to go with them. Alicia's favorite is well known to all of us. Even when she was teaching school, her students knew which candy she loved and when she had to move away to California, one of her students brought her a big bag of Gummy Bears! For a cute gift, here is an adorable bear shaped container filled with Gummy Bears. Alicia says that her favorite brand is Black Forest, so you can decide which kind you like. Oh! I almost forgot! She really likes Sour Gummies! So now you can see why she created this Valentine to go with them. Madalynn's pick may be a little less known to you. She chose De la Rosa Mazapan. These are a Mexican peanut style marzipan that are sweet, soft, and almost melt in your mouth! If a sweet peanut butter taste is what you love, these are for you! I saved myself for last this time because my choice is the best of all, Ha Ha! Like Lindsey, choosing a non-chocolate candy seemed daunting. After all, my favorite candy in the entire world is See's Candy. But, then I realized that See's does have a non-chocolate candy that I really love! They are called Scotch Kisses! They are a soft marshmallow covered in delicious caramel! I usually get myself one whenever I pick up any See's Candy. I mean, look at these things: When Alicia was trying to decide what to say on the Valentine for these little gems, I told her to hurry up or I wouldn't be able to restrain myself from eating them all before I took pictures with the Valentine. That is how she came up with "I saved my last kiss for you Valentine!". Out of context, it may sound a bit morbid, so you could say , "my best Kiss", but my husband knows me and See's. Now, all you have to do is click on the button below and download your Valentine Printables and the non-chocolate eater problem is solved! Shopping links are reposted as well for your convenience! Be sure to let us know what your favorite non-chocolate candy is! Do you like any of these? Friday Faves #5 and these Valentines first appeared here, on 3 Winks Design. You May Also Enjoy:
